Storage and security
Configuration and operational data is stored using Google Firebase and related infrastructure. Sensitive credentials are intended to be protected with access controls and service-side handling. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we aim to minimize exposure and limit access appropriately.
Third-party processors and integrations
SoCrates may rely on third-party services including Firebase, supported inverter vendors, Tesla, weather sources, and electricity pricing providers. Data exchanged with those services is limited to what is needed to provide the relevant feature.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, support the account, meet security and operational needs, and satisfy legal obligations where applicable.
